Q: Why did I receive a “Session Timeout” Error?

Q: When I try to print a group of files that are downloaded, the print order they come out of the printer is incorrect. What can be done to fix this?
A: Depending on the size of the files, smaller files finish first and are added to the print que before larger files get finished. This then repeats to cause the order of the printed files to be out of order. There are many utilities on the market that allow you to sequentially print a series of files. MoDOT has had success with one called "PrintConductor". PrintConductor is a program prints any number of documents in batch mode. It lets you print large numbers of files, including Adobe PDF, Microsoft Word DOC, Microsoft Excel XLS, Autodesk AutoCAD DWG, Microsoft PowerPoint PPT, etc. Simply specify the files, adjust your printer and press the Run button. Since it prints these files one at a time, it preserves the print order of the set of documents. The current version of PrintConductor is free for use and available at http://www.print-conductor.com.
Q: What version of Adobe Acrobat do I need to work with the downloaded files?
A: While some of the documents in the plans room are compatible with Adobe Acrobat version 5, the majority of the plan sheets are created with Adobe Acrobat version 7. To ensure you will be able to utilize all the features in these files, we recommend Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader 7.0 or greater.
Q: What are the standard plan size sheets?
A: The Standard plan size for MoDOT plan sheets is 22x34”. All half size sheets are 11x17”. Please verify the requested sheet size when ordering.
